Christmas Events for All

Wherever you are right now in life, Monaca UMC has a way for you to make the most of this Christmas season:

Looking to volunteer?

  • Saturday, December 2—Help with Monaca’s Angel Card booth at Monaca’s Hometown Christmas. Call Vera Lovewell at (610) 462-5195.
  • Now through December 24—Help as we prepare for our upcoming Nativity Play. All ages needed. Call/text Tina Allen at (610) 462-5193.

Looking for peace and quiet?

  • Thursday, December 21 @ 7pm—Attend Monaca UMC’s “Blue Christmas” program. Featuring calming music (no singing) in an informal setting, this is a great opportunity for self-care during the busy holiday season. Anyone of Christian faith (or undecided) is invited. Light refreshments will be provided. See the event flyer here.

Looking for a kid-focused Christmas service?

  • Sunday, December 24 @ 11am—Share in the story of the First Christmas with our Nativity Play!

Looking for a traditional Christmas Eve worship?

  • Sunday, December 24 @ 5pm—Get into the spirit at Monaca UMC’s traditional Christmas Eve candlelight worship service.
  • Sunday, December 24 @ 7pm—Enjoy the classics at Aliquippa First UMC’s traditional Christmas Eve worship service.

Whether you attend one event that fits your needs, or you attend them all, we hope these events bring you the peace and joy of the Holy Spirit!
