Musical Blessings
Not surprisingly, one of the most well-attended worship services for Christian denominations is held on Christmas Eve, the night that Joseph and a very pregnant Mary found themselves without a place to stay for the night, which resulted in the first Christmas being celebrated in a stable.
At Monaca UMC, our Christmas Eve service features warm decorations, soft lighting, Christmas music, and a message of hope. We also engage in an annual tradition of closing out the service by singing “Silent Night” to candlelight.
This year, the congregation was also blessed by the musical performances of former pastors David Vaughn and Ross Pryor and soloist John Hesser.
Check out the music for yourself, and carry a little bit of Christmas with you all year!
