In-Person Worship Again Suspended
Please see the following message from our pastor:
Good morning,
I pray this email finds you healthy and well. These past few months have been an emotional, spiritual, and physical roller coaster. A few weeks back, we began meeting again for in person worship. What a blessing that has been! The sound of the organ as it plays, the feel of the sanctuary as you settle in for worship, and the opportunity to be with our church family hopefully warms your heart as it does mine. Because of these reasons, I write to you with a sad heart. Last evening, Governor Wolf imposed state-wide restrictions on indoor gatherings to 25 persons or less. This restriction, along with others, began at 12:01 this morning. Beginning this Sunday, July 19, in person worship will once again be suspended indefinitely. We will continue to record and upload the service to YouTube as we have done in the past. Although this may be seen as a setback, I pray we do not view it in that way. These restrictions will help us to slow the spread of the virus and care for our neighbors in the process. This is the adversity God spoke to us about on Sunday. We are to be grateful for the inner growth that will take place because of this “setback.” On the other side of this pandemic, we will be stronger, the Church will be stronger, and God will get all the glory!
Peace,
Ross
